Kids in action!

The kids' response to The English Galaxy was phenomenal.

They absolutely adored the room and would come to school early each day to line up and wait for the doors to open. It is afterall a tiny tuck-shop with no windows so for safety reasons, a maximum of 25-30 students were allowed to be in the room at the same time.

You would think with all these kids in such a tight space of attractive games and books, there'd be total chaos. However, I am astounded and proud to say that our students' behaviour had been outstanding this year! The English Ambassadors did a wonderful job in maintaining order in the room. They've also shown good leadership skills and patience in leading games and activities. The boys understood that freedom and responsibility came hand in hand in the English Galaxy. I am so happy to see them live out this philosophy at such a young age.

Thank-you to all the students, teachers and parents for your support of our English Galaxy. I sincerely hope we can have a bigger English learning space in the near future but for now we will do the best with what we have.

"Rome wasn't built in a day" so one step at a time.
